Shipping
I use Canada Post to ship all my orders, and have a few options available.
Canada
- Regular Letter Mail (No Tracking) is available in a few options. This option relies on the weight of your package, which will be calculated at the checkout. 0-100 grams(1-2 hats) will be $3 . 100-200 grams (2-3 hats) will be $4. 200-500 grams (3-5 hats) will be $6. It does not include tracking. The estimated time is 3-14 business days.
- Regular Parcel is available for $16. The estimated time is 3-14 business days and includes tracking.
- Expedited Parcel is available for $18. The estimated time is 3-9 business days and includes tracking.
USA
- Regular Letter Mail (No Tracking) $10 flat rate
Rest of the World
- Regular Letter Mail (No Tracking) $10 flat rate
**Any import duties and taxes are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.*
Once the package has left my hands, all aspects of when it will arrive is out of my control. I can only go by what Canada Post tells me. That being said, if you do have any issues with tracking a package (if you’ve selected tracking method) and are unable to figure it out yourself, please contact me with your issue and all details, and I will do my best to assist.
***If you are looking to pick up an item, I do offer FREE pick up in Stewiacke, NS, however to use this option you currently have to either contact me through my "Contact Me" page, or head over to my Facebook page JGJ Handmade with either a picture, or good description of the product you are looking for, and I will set it up for you!***
Washing Instructions
With the nature of the material I use to make my hats and headbands, using heat on them at all may cause them to shrink.
I recommend to only wash hats, and headbands when absolutely necessary. Spot cleaning is preferred. If you must put them in the washer, use a delicate cycle with COLD water.
Lay them flat to dry. If you do use the dryer to fluff it up, make sure you use a NO HEAT setting.

***French Terry Knit beanies and headbands may be machine washed with cold water safely. You can tumble dry on low, but I still recommend laying flat to dry for best results.***
Returns/Exchanges
If you have any issues with your purchase (sizing doesn't match sizing chart below, flaws, received wrong product etc.), please contact me A.S.A.P. I always try to assure all orders are correct and error free, however I am human, and I do make mistakes. I will do my best to make it right for you, exchange for a new product, or a gift card to my site to use at another time.
Sizing Guide
When sizing hats, please keep in mind that you usually want your hat to be 1-2 inches smaller than the circumference of your head. Headbands are made a little more fitted, so if you want a looser fit, please order the size up, if possible. If you would like a hat or headband made larger, but don't see the option, send me a request in the “Contact Me” section including a detailed description of the item you are looking for, with measurements. I do not guarantee I can make it every time, but I will always try.
*with newborns I recommend not getting a size smaller, but opting for one of the same circumference, or larger.
